What are self-paced online courses?
The Institute for Religion, Peace and Justice offers self-paced online courses as a more affordable alternative to our much more robust and substantial online courses. Each course is only $49 USD for lifetime access to its content. This option allows students to progress through the online course at their own pace and is for students who want the essentials of the subject of each course distilled in easily consumable modules with video lectures, short video clips, and supplemental readings and links, but who do not care about receiving university credit from an accredited university for the work they complete or about the far more enriching experience our credit and audit students receive from video conferences with our amazing Guest Lecturers, interacting with their Instructors on a regular basis, the relationships students forge with each other and their instructors, the assignments they complete and feedback they receive, and the more substantial lectures and larger number of video lectures and other supplemental material in each course.
